Dan Whittam, Honey Badger Events

Dan Whittam is the founder of Honey Badger Events. Honey Badger Events provide function and entertainment solutions with live music experiences for any size event or function from 5 to 5000 people.

Dan has been in the events and entertainment industry for over 30 years and is passionate about delivering a broad range of options to meet any requirement.

Dan is a revered and active live musician, with multiple bookings every week across South East Queensland.

In addition, Dan holds 3 weekly open mics across Brisbane and supports many young musicians transition into becoming professional performers.

Carl Paczensky, Gateway Entertainment

Co-founder, accomplished performer, and entertainment strategist, with years of experience in live performance, artist coordination, and venue entertainment planning. Carl brings a wealth of knowledge in curating high-quality entertainment experiences that resonate with audiences.

Gateway Entertainment has provided entertainment solutions for some of the world’s biggest artists, including AC/DC, Coldplay, The Angels, Guns N’ Roses, and Jimmy Barnes. They’ve worked with major venue groups and touring circuits, ensuring every show is professionally managed and executed to the highest standard. Lisa Plunkett, Honey Badger Events

Previously the Principal at Brisbane Secretarial Services, bringing over 30 years of experience in administrative and secretarial support, she is now partnered with Dan at Honey Badger Events. 

Her career spans not-for-profit organisations, private enterprise and government agencies, allowing her to cultivate a deep understanding of the diverse needs and challenges facing each sector.  Lisa has extensive experience in the legal, insurance, and risk sectors but has also successfully operated a number of businesses.  Her early years were marked by a strong involvement in music and she has worked with clients in the music and entertainment industry.  Lisa possesses invaluable insights into the basics of administration and can streamline processes and procedures for efficacy and results for sole operators.

She possesses comprehensive, practical knowledge across all aspects of administrative and secretarial duties, which allows her to provide focused and effective solutions for our attendees.
